Yard Waste is Prohibited from Garbage.

The Yard Waste Season in Minnesota typically runs from mid-April through mid-November, weather permitting. This site will be updated as the season gets closer to specify the beginning of the season.

The 2006 season is scheduled to start the week of April 10, 2006.

You can dispose of yard trimmings by:

• Putting yard trimmings in your Waste Management 64-gallon yard waste cart to be collected at the curb on your normal pick up day.
• Composting it in your backyard or
• Taking yard trimmings to a transfer station that accepts "clean green".
